Chef Michael E. Bonk is the Guest Chef at The Queen Vic Sunday!

Sonoma Restaurant and Wine Bar’s Executive Chef Michael E. Bonk will be the honorary Guest Chef at the The Queen Vic on Hst NE this Sunday, July 15th from 4pm to 10pm.
We are excited for him to have the opportunity to create a unique menu for our friends over at ‘The Vic;’ a menu that will consist of some of his dream dishes mixed with a little English pub flare.

Stop by, try his mouthwatering food and welcome him to H Street for this one night only feast before he is lured back to SE Capitol Hill!

Or, if you’re more in the mood of Italian food, don’t forget that Sunday is Sonoma’s ‘Old School Italian Sunday’ night with half-off wine and delicious traditional Italian specials. Sonoma’s Sous Chef Aaron Scales will be holding down the kitchen while Chef Bonk is taking over the Queen Vic’s kitchen.

Chilled cantaloupe soup, English pea gelato, crispy prosciutto

Grilled octopus, grapes, celery, potato, squid ink

Roasted figs, ricotta, vanilla, balsamic

Heirloom tomatoes, Mexican sour gherkins, grana padano, foccacia, evoo, champagne vinegar

GLT, smoked guanciale, lettuce, tomato, Harissa aioli, chips

Scrapple, fried egg, pipperade

Porchetta, sausage stuffed braised pork belly, bitter greens, peach

Peach upside down cake, lemon verbena sorbet, black walnuts
